Personally I prefer the old way without private worlds. There are so many that are 10 and less players that are just pointless. There is so many more menus that then old game that makes running an airline take much longer. Privste worlds imo ruined the competition of public worlds and the game. IF YOU ARE NEW AND DIDN'T PLAY BEFORE UPDATE DON'T VOTE. This is not to dig anyone. Just seeing if anyone agrees with me.

Everybody wants it so that they can base at ATL/ORD/LAX/LHR/FRA/CDG/HND with zero competition. They'll soon realize just how boring and pointless that is.

I do like the new interface. I do like private worlds.

I just hope for future worlds we can reduce the number of available gates at each airport depending on the number of players the world is set for.

I like private worlds. And I prefer having very few people in the worlds I play in-I have more room to spread out and I'm not trying to keep up with the Joneses.

And by the way, my biggest base is Toronto Pearson, thank you, and I'm in a 19 person world. I don't see the point of pitting 16,000 players against each other frankly, or even 1,600. The world's too small for that. That's an average of EIGHT players per airport at every single one of the ~2,000 airports in the game, and at 1,600 that's 0.8 on average per airport, which brings the question, how many airports in the game actually are viable bases? By the way, lowering fares on the same flights, every day, for 3 months running, it gets OLD, very fast.

Private worlds have advantages, like lower server load. =D So hey, let them base at those major airports, makes the public worlds less full and allows for faster load times.

As a long term player I liked the game before private worlds more.

Things like the used plane market are wasted now.

The game has also lost its community feel.

I LOVE OLD AM!

Multiworlds arent fun coz no competition! :( its very sad and lonely....
back in the old am, competition ruled! Well, i liked multi-public worlds, the old one was saturating.

I agree.... I miss the old AM.... I think there should be between 2-4 multi public worlds and a cap of 15 private worlds that only have like 1-6/7/8 players..... otherwise we have a bajillion worlds, most not-active, some active with one-three people in it, and 2-5 ones with more than 12/13/14 poeple active. :)

I do miss some competition, but most importantly, I think that AM's community has been fragmented by the creation of private worlds..... just my opinion, Im sure some disagree. :)

I like the old 2007 version. It was still fun to play. Later when the player numbers skyrocketed I left as I needed to spend pretty much time on it.

HEAR HEAR! With the intro of multiworlds, it seems as if everything has spread out way too much. Just look at the tens of threads in  the aircraft market, lease and report boards and compare it with the near zero responses they get.

Too many PWs in my opinion.

I like private worlds, but it has gotten to the point where the public worlds are nearly empty with no one playing them, and therefore no competition  :(

I like private world too.
I have no interest on the current public worlds as they are short in length.
The continents are unattractive also. :(

I prefer the old AM where there were no multi-private worlds.  No competetion = NO FUNNN  I miss the times when everyone was competing in the rankings and when the aircraft market was still actually used!!

Public worlds were heaps better. More competition. Private worlds, as almost everyone has said, they get boring cause there is no competition.
