It gets worse every day..... We stopped at a rural gas station and regular was 4.46 and premium was 4.65......

Forgot to mention in NZ diesel cars have road user charges- $300NZ (About €150) per 10,000km. One of the more stupid things the NZ govt has done, it discourages diesels which are more economical/environmentally friendly than petrols! :roll:

Because fuel is more expensive now, I'm looking at buying this as a first car as it's a fairly small engine, but still quick.

91 Octane petrol is $2.00/litre
Diesel is $1.79.

yeah it's a dollar 1.75 here in melborune they say when we hit christmas in OZ fuel will reach $2.00! :cry:  :?  :(

at the moment though we running a diesel and thats at 1.87 in melbourne!
