Sigh....
$1.6/gallon (USD or what?)

In HK, it's somewhere about 2 USD, both petrol and diesel. However, HK government MAY lower the diesel tax (or whatever it is called).

Common Scandinavian Airlines System, i know you can do it! Im sure you can do it! Go bankrupt please, SAS, get rid of yourself, let healthy airlines take your place, such as Sterling and Norwegian!

What are you talking about both Sterling and Norwegian are losing money just like SAS. Sterling although only had a loss for 20 million DK last year, but Norwegian had around 500 million NOK. So keep your mouth shut until you know better! SAS has problems I don´t deny that please all other airlines have too.

Why can't they make ships with hydraulic engines, so they can run on water...

Ships cant run on water even if they are powered by hydraulics. Besides, i dont see how Hydrolics can make a propeller rotate 50 times per minute. And powering ships with water in the Hydraulics system is no good either, you would need a pump to move the water through the system. The pump uses fuel...

SAS is Sterling service for much higher price. Its better for the passengers. SAS is an old and useless airline that could have done a lot to become better, but they have only decreased service.
SAS was a world class airline, but they removed service to LCC standards, insisting that their good reputation would keep the passengers coming back.

Have you been on a SAS flight inside Europe, not being on Business? And on a Lufthansa/Swiss, Finnair flight? SAS is more expensive than all those, and has the lesser service... SAS also neglects passengers in Jutland (the western part of Denmark), and has decided to base most longhaul flights out of Copenhagen, where they compete with Lufthansa. They should base longhauls out of Stockholm, where they compete with Finnair  And besides that, CPH is horribly crowded with shops and passengers

But they won an award for their airport

in 1950

oh, and btw: (Big) ships don't run on Diesel- they run on some byproduct of the fuel production. But Air Hannover International said he wanted to order a tanker full of fuel from Venezuela since he heard that the fuel was really cheap (see the other thread). Well, I want such a tanker as well

Around 25 Euros pr. Barrel of oil as we know it. And about 30 euros for a barrel of biological/alternative fuel (and dropping)

Yah, but only if you kill about half of the world's population, including everyone from the US, China and EU and manage to survive that
