From your fellow Airline Mogul player's, especially AzZellon and Hampo,

Dear IranAir "The Comedian" 777,

Thank you.. Thank for the past few day's where joy was brought to us, you have made us roll on the floor, you broke rib's of people due to excessive laughter, there were several cases where tear's were shed in the valiant purpose of your written request's. Thank you, for entertaining the masses of this forum through act's of foolish request's, acting through the advice of other's even though you purposely mentioned that you did not require such advice since you were a self-super-hero that can do absolutely anything, not to mention the brave act of asking for something excessively huge for something excessivly miniature, yet what made us enjoy your frantic act's is that you kept valiantly going on thinking that your request will be provided, it is simply amazing, we have barely seen a human being; if that is the case, persevere onward's through such act's of bravery and belittlisation of one'self. Thank you again for being the comedian you are, we love you for that and offer you all the applauds and smiles toward's your amazing cause of leading humanity toward's the sewer.

Love, AzZellon, Hampo, the rest of the forum.

P.S. Call me in half a century when you get what you want..

If you found my simple query rid shattering funny, I suggest you get a phsycologist cause a question that simple couldnt have been funny.
I am not here as a comedian (although I make jokes that are not so rib shatteringly funny)
I am shocked at how dumb people on these forums are to just laugh at someone requesting a 747. Shame on all of you.

although the only funny outcome of this question which you all have taken it in a very childish way is the joke in your sig

hmm... k.

You don't want people to make fun of you. Fine. I will add it to the forum rules.

We are making fun of each other as it is (eg. I makes fun of Hampo and Stephen often enough... and some of you make fun of me). This is just how a forum works. However, if you want to be left alone, that could be done as well.

anyway, whats a forum when you cant make a few jokes about someone? but the amount I recieved is over the joke limit

Now that we're on that road, I might as well go along.

It's not so much me holding up the order for 3 weeks, it's more like me having no internet and no time to do anything AM-related for 3 weeks.

I did know that you didnt have the internet for a few weeks (after yesterday evening) but theres many places where you can visit the internet. Like dont you have emails to check, work to do etc? You may now say that some people have a life, I have a life also, But I put time aside to do with things that I do in my spare time

what I also dont like about the fact that most of you have made fun of me (over the joke limit) is that now my brokerage and airlines image has come down

First off, I must say that I enjoy iranair's unintentional comedy.  Top marks to dktc for managing this perfectly well.

Secondly, I've found that orders via in-game brokers take time.  Lots of time.  You never quite know when the plane is going to show up, and you usually don't know how much it's going to cost when it does.  It's annoying, especially when you've got a chunk of cash set aside for the plane, but it's worth it in the end for the deals you get.

Third, I'm in Orange's alliance, and he's been noticeably absent for a while now.  That tells me that he's got one of those weird things known as a 'real life' that's probably taking priority over satisfying an irrationally angry webgame player.

Fourth, why a Middle Eastern airline in this game would want a 747 is beyond me.  The turn times are so long that you can't use it for lots of short-haul routes, since the plane ends up spending more time on the ground than in the air.  That means you can only do long-haul with it, and there aren't many long-haul routes that you can make enough profit from to justify using a 747.  I'm a small-continent airline myself, and the biggest thing I can use is a 727.  For us, the only thing a 747 is useful for is leasing out to people who are stupid enough to take it.

I'm sure you do, and I'm sure you can manage all that. What I'm not too sure about is the importance of certain elements in your real-life. If I have to work on a 12.000-word essay on effective programming of theatres, it most definitely takes up more time than anything else. In fact, I spend about 2 weeks writing that thing, leaving no time at all for going to some internet café (the nearest one of which is about 30 minutes away by bus, if you really care) to check up on a game. I did have emails to check, and the little time I had went into checking emails for work and school. Not into checking AM-related emails.

If you read the thread properly I did mention that I have a life as well and that I am not angry about orange but all of you

I know this to be a weakness but I personally do my aircraft checks before I actually buy an aircraft
