I worked the one in Farnborough as well (once). Working those shows was intense hard work, started at 7AM through to 9 PM, followed by nights out drinking with all the people you met up to 3 AM,. Rinse and repeat that rhythm daily for the duration of the show. Thank goodness I was young back then and had little problem keeping up the pace. Would knock me straight out now!
Paris Air Show : static display was decent enough. For the flight show, the skies were clear with just the right amount of clouds to lend it a good backdrop. I saw what I think is one of the most beautiful helicopters ever: the Airbus "Guépard".
