Bugs / Terminal Issue

From World 2677, ID 13327, Gauss Air (GUA).
I also posted this in the world subforum, under general.

"I recently built two terminals, one first in Paris (CDG) and the second in London (LHR). Both builds were successful, but I noticed that the first build seems to have permanently decreased my airline value. I thought this wasn't supposed to be the case (from past experience, I've seen that building terminals doesn't change airline value), but I figured it might be a change to this world. The terminal I built in LHR, however, did non decrease my airline value, which was my major concern; at least one of these instances is a bug. "

Of this insanely profitable 20 hour route, to Antarctica  ?


I've had this account (on this world, I've been active in the Asia PubW) layout dormant accruing large amounts of wealth for me... so recently I decided to expand the long haul presence... and by that I mean > 9000 miles. I must say, it's incredibly fun. Not recommended for airlines looking for expansion (I mean, look at that 60 million aircraft earning my 40,000/day! Whoopee!), but those of you with similarly large amounts of cash should try this out. My challenge is to fly to every airport with > 5,000,000 passengers over 10,000 miles away; and thanks to this wonderful 100 seat 777 ER VIP, I don't have to buy a death by maintainence A380!

Game Strategy / Question about route length

Does longer route length increase the demand or just the amount people are willing to pay?
I know it seems trivial but if the former then I can place a larger aircraft on some of these routes 

EDIT: Unrelated but it popped up.
Recently I just finished creating routes from all my bases to ALL my gates.
My not base gates all had 50% capacity (5 routes). However, two of my bases had two more routes than the other 3. Can someone explain how this is the case?

Bugs / World Info - At a Glance Error

A small problem really, but I thought I ought to point it out nonetheless.
On Private World 1794, Deutsch Abfliegen, ID 13327.

The World Info - At a Glance shows each of my two bases twice.
Also, the market share percentage that it shows for each are different.

I decided to jump back into this game ... I've been learning programming recently and somehow that reminded me of this I guess. Anyways, I don't know how hard this would be to implement, given my new found appreciation of the difficulty of making seemingly small/easy updates, but a list of online players in a given world would be nice to have, for business purposes to see who it would be best to send requests, etc.. to.

Anyways, looking forward to getting into AM again!
PS - I also liked that there's mini-forum on each world! Cool stuff!

Type: Can't join world.
Description: I came back after a few weeks, tried to join a world. No matter how much I try to join, (from 3 different hubs) it won't let me join

On the Join World screen, it lets me pick European bases....
Also, sometimes, I don't get the drop-down menu at all. (To pick bases)

And it never actually registers me in the world, it just takes me back to the Select World screen when I press register.

I'm in W8, Lord Voldemort (1G).
Anyways, On the rankings page when you go in the world, it says I'm 24th.
However, when I go to view world, it doesn't show me on that list.

Is there a specific time it's updated, or do the in-world rankings not show inactive airlines or something?
EDIT: While we're there, it says we have 1298/1297 players in W8.

Game Strategy / Frequencies

Why is there such a little difference in profit between different frequencies?
For a 0.5 Frequency, I get about 46k.
For a 1 Frequency, I only get an extra 6k, and I spend TWICE the amount of time...

Shouldn't we make a bit closer to double the profit?
I know there are extra expenses, but still.

EDIT: I find this fairly consistent.
You only make an extra 20% at most for a lot of routes...

I noticed that you're not allowed to sell your first Aircraft (when you only have one), but it's perfectly fine to scrap it.
Is this supposed to happen? Imo they both amount to the same thing: no Aircraft...
