Just curious if there are any other golfers playing AM? I live in the Northern part of the US, so not much golf this time of the year (the high here today was -6*). If you're a golfer, tell everyone a little bit about your game, how much you play, what kind of clubs you have, and if you 'got game.'  8)

The answers would be Yes.
I stink.
It was a high of -2 here today.  Not to mention the 20 inches of snow on the courses.
I play when my golf buddy has time(my dad)
I stink bad...  my handicap is mid-20's
I play some Wilsons that are too short for me(from my golf buddy, who is six inches shorter than me)
Did I mention I stink VERY badly......

Today in North Texas, it was 68 degrees F, clear skies and no wind. Unfortunately until I get some work done on my knees the only golf I'll be doing is on the practice greens.

Today in Seattle, it was mid-40's, rain, wind, and fog. Definantly not a great day to play golf

I haven't played in over 18 months :(, but I could probably go out and shoot in the low/mid-80's. My handicap has been as low as 2 (in high school), then as low as 7 as recently as 2003.

Driver: Callaway Great Big Bertha II Pro Series 8.5° w/ x-stiff shaft
2-PW: Ping Eye 2 Plus-No Plus (redesigned cast w/ square grooves) - orange dots [over 15 years old]
SW, GW, LW: Ping M/B Wedge series - black dots
Putter: Ping G2 mini-C - orange dot

In Denver, you can pretty much play year-round. :)

Low 20's here, about 0-10 with the windchill.

I only made it out maybe 20 times last year.  Renovating a 100 year old home sort of eats in to my drinking and driving time.  :)

Two years ago I managed to get out about 4-5 times a week at this killer public course I discovered.  I think it's the 7th green that overlooks downtown Cincinnati from high up on a Kentucky hill.  It's a great spot to stop for a cigar and a beer.  My best round was a 92 that year.  Last year I only broke a hundred twice and seriously doubt my lack of regular playing will help me this spring.

What courses in Seattle do you play? Ever played at Gold Mountain over in Bremerton?  8)

Grrrrr.....68*, sure, rub it in. It's -6 fricking degrees here right now. The courses around here will be lucky to be open by mid-April!  8)

I've heard you get an extra 20-30 yards in Denver because of the altitude. That true?  8)

Mid-20's isn't all that bad, especially if you don't play very often and you have clubs that don't fit you right. But when you're getting to spend some time with your dad on the links, the quality of the golf doesn't really matter that much anyways, right?  8)
