I personally prefer Airbus over Boeing, but I'll give props to both.

Best Airbus: A340-500/-600 BY FAR.
Runner-up Bus: A320
Best Boeing: B777-300
Runner-up Bus: B767-300

I hate the 737. Sorry :P

744 is super comfy.... just miss it

On the contrary, I hate the 747 because I find it to be a bleeming cowpacker.  It is a glorified freighter in it's own right, the design originally intended for the USAF, but the Lockheed Galaxy won the contract.

Reims/Cessna 406!
Beech 1900D!
Dash 8-100 is best though :D

These 'tubes' are so boring. Nothing like being in the circuit in Wellington in our 406 doing twice the speed of a Tomahawk doing max-rate turns while holding just for the hell of it! Or Wlg -> Chc at 100ft! Better than a 737 at 30,000ft!

Some people won't be happy but I still stick to the Concorde. Who's really paying attention to fuel economy anyway? Sleek, sexy, fast and there's a picture floating around somewhere with a flock of French Concorde that instantly remind me of swans flying in formation.

Edit:

Edit2: What is a group of planes called? I used flock because it fits too well when talking about Concorde.

Even more Edit:
Oh or the Ekronoplan:D

Good old Russian MASSIVE crazies.

A group of planes is called a fleet of planes!  :D

I'm amazed that nobody has mentioned the E-Jets as they look simply stunning.
The Boeing 777 is also a great jet and having flown on one before that would be my favourite to fly on.

I only really like the newer Boeing jets like the 737NG (with winglets of course! ) the 748i, 777 and 787, although I like the A330. IMO the A380 is an ugly flying whale...
The E 170-195 jets are my favourite RJs.

There's no bigger hell on earth than flying in a CRJ for more than an hour. Please, I'd rather drive.

Has to be the Boeing 757-200. I've only ever had the pleasure once and that was PHL-DUB on US Airways. Perfect plane.  8)

Although nothing beats the A330 for its grace and beauty.
