That is one hell of a fleet!  :o What bases do you have? I suppose they are big. Would you mind providing a forum link to your airline?
And remember, you can't ever trust maintenance fees, they have their own lives...

i know the problem with maintenance fees sometimes i have a year where the dobbelt without any reasons. but i can live with this. its not my first game im in 6 worlds right now in oneworld i used roundabout 1100 Pullmen for the last 30 years and make enough money. maybe i replace them when the A320 series are to order.

edit:  As i wrote sometimes the maintamance fees dopple without a reason it nearly doppled right now. from 7 to 11 billion.
but its not so dramtic cause i make 11 billion profit. ;-)

Edit 2: 1 day after edit 1 and this month it drops down to 5 Billion and i make 20 Billion Profit.

You are correct, I tried to tell that in my example (seems like it didn't go well). The Cessna's increase the average age, increasing maintenance. Let me give you another Cessna-747-example:

You have this fleet:
10x 747-400, age 1
3x Cessna 208, age 20

It costs roughly the same as this fleet:
7x 747-400, age 1
3x 747-400, age 20
3x Cessna 208, age 1

Average age is the same for both fleet, value is almost the same (the older the plane, the lower the value), so the maintenance will be almost the same. Example two is a little bit cheaper due to the thee 15-year old 747's loosing value.

But a brand new 747 might cost more than a 20-year old Cessna 208. Just note that the maintenance can get extremely high if your planes are very old. Currently I have 1.5 billion in maintenance fees with 389 7-year old planes.

Did it help? :)

I never really thought about MXF like that. But if that's true, it would mean that if I have a mixed fleet of 300 aircraft with an average age of 10 years, and I decide to buy 300 Antonov An-3T's (cost ~150mln in total) it would drastically decrease my MXF, right?

Wow. If that world lasted just 10 years, and there's like 2 years left, that would mean you build that airline in 8 game years. So basically you're saying you played AM like 20h each day :P Gotta respect the size tho. I've had some biiiiig airlines, but never as big as yours. Just under 700bln would be my personal best. But that took me ~20 game years...  :o

Not more then 1 -2 hours a day.
I have much expirience with the Ticketrats.
Do you ever bought the advanced Gates search option. for 60 Free token you can sort the cities for distance passengers  and so on.

i let me list all cities in a passengerrange  from ther distance to me and put them on my planes. i normely bought 50 planes of the same typ and manage this in 1 -2 hours.

I used ranges like over 25 million for the very big like 777 or this time a330/a340,
25 -15 million for the 767-200ER and A330-200LR and A321
15 -5 for A320
5-1 for the A319/A319LR
1 - 100.000 for the A318/ Bomb. 701 Series

and then start from the farest posible airport and fill up the 50 airliners with the routes. the resttime i fill with the best fitting route in the same passengerrange.  for ex.

A319  with a resttime of 5:43 you can fly a route like this

make the minutes to hours and add. the hours  43 /60  +5 = 5,71
Div 2 for a roundtrip  5,71 /2 = 2,86
Sub the passengerchangetime.     2,86 - 0.58   = 2,28
mul  with the speed    2,28 * 452 = 1030

find a route thats slightly under 1030 and fill the plane with this route.

Don't take longer then 1 Minute each plane ;-)

The ticked prices only change aliitle bit from trip to trip so you can use the same ticked price for 20 - 30 routs without to much loose.

Simple like that

My Doc is: € 1,064,714,462

And as i wrote in edit1 and 2

Last month my maintenance fees where 11 Billion and a profit of 12 Billion. Before it was 7 Billion with a profit of 18 billon
This month its drop down to Maintenance Fees (Monthly)  €4,915,660,145 and a profit of 20 Billion :-)

So you see i know the "live" with the Maintenance Fees.

Bombardier CRJ-200          3
Bombardier CRJ-701          206
Bombardier CRJ-701ER       82
Bombardier CRJ-701LR       94

On what routes do you use the CRJ700's?
What is chiefly needed is skill rather than machinery.
