I will get pictures of it from when I open the envelope. Sad i know but I cannot wait to get it. Its kinda like seeing a plane go over head and thinking " How many happy people are on that plane, going to a new job, new life, a holiday, or just going home, and even how many people are on that plane with broken hearts, leaving loved ones behined, how many dream have been broken..." except for it will be in my living room looking pretty.
Its a sad thing really but as these engines are now longer produced (as far as I am aware) its part of aviation history, I would love to know which model aircraft it came from, its either a 100/200/300 series. Its also the engine that powered the fateful PA103 aircraft amoungst others.
I would love to know which aircraft this has come from, surely it will have a serial number on it and maybe I can find a P&W contact to find out which plane it came from.
