Of this insanely profitable 20 hour route, to Antarctica  :D?

I've had this account (on this world, I've been active in the Asia PubW) layout dormant accruing large amounts of wealth for me... so recently I decided to expand the long haul presence... and by that I mean > 9000 miles. I must say, it's incredibly fun. Not recommended for airlines looking for expansion (I mean, look at that 60 million aircraft earning my 40,000/day! Whoopee!), but those of you with similarly large amounts of cash should try this out. My challenge is to fly to every airport with > 5,000,000 passengers over 10,000 miles away; and thanks to this wonderful 100 seat 777 ER VIP, I don't have to buy a death by maintainence A380!

Lol, now you're really jealous.
My fleet age is 9.0, with 404 aircraft.
65% of my fleet is under 100 seats, the 30% is under 150 seats.
I started using A319s at like 3 years in, then I realized that there were still 9 years left in the world; my competitors were buying the A330s and assorted high maintainence... now I lol.

This is quite funny actually. One of my airlines is an exact copy of yours :P Well.. in terms of DOC and profit. My value keeps behind quite a bit.

428 Aircraft flying 2100 routes. I use BAe-146-100, BAe-146-300 and ATR 72-200 A/C. Which do you use?

Oh, and if your map was still visible, it would ROCK. I mean, a straight line all the way down to Antarctica. That's awesome

@ Jayceon - yeah, 380ish AC doing about 2350 routes here - how have a lot of profit though! How old is your game? Have you been replacing AC at all?
For aircraft, I used the BAe Jetstream J61, and then I started using the Tupolev Tu 334 D - it's great - 102 seats, 440 speed, 1200 range, 27 million. I've recently switched over to this other Tupolev with 126 and about 34 million cost, because somehow it takes 48 days to make an aircraft with 102 seats and only 24 days to make one with 126 seats... whaaa? Also I'll post the main route map later - it's cool, so many long range routes... yay.

Update - I now make 30,000 on a CDG - Antarctica 20+ hour route. Yay

Lol I go through spurts of activity... for a few weeks I'm on all the time and then for a while I just don't log on at all. This is one of the high activity spurts

Well, I joined this world when it was 1991, now it's 1995. I made a jumpstart here though. The first day I posted an threat on the world message board asking people to lease me ATR's for like 2 mln a month for 2 years. That would be great profit for both. And there were a couple of airlines that leased me like 40 A/C in total  So within a couple of days I made a profit of hundreds of millions a day  Now, four years later, I'm still beasting but there isn't any competition left :( There's a 60bln gap (and growing by the day with ±1.5bln) between me and the #2. I only had one serious rival, also with a 400+ fleet but he got deleted by the world owner because he trashed profits on a couple of his routes. Apparently the world owner never heard of "competing" My map isn't too spectacular though :P I'll start L/H once both the 772ER and 773ER are available. It's a waste of money to buy those but I don't mind too much. I just find 777's extremely hot!

I tried to do that in Africa once. I created hubs all along the coasts of Africa, and created routes to every conceivable African airport with 50 seaters. I almost got the shape of Africa in red

Anyone else tried that?

Oi, Africa.. that's one hell of a challenge :P Never had the guts to start there. I've tried it in Southern America once. That was like enough challenge for me  There are a couple places I've never started an airline; Africa and Australia. I might give Africa a shot someday :)
