Yes, I noticed that as well. Passengers couldn't disembark though. To be honest, I'd rather be at 30.000 ft over the hurricane and waiting for it to blow by, than be stuck on the tarmac.

We had a few diversions at Roskilde as well. A couple of Sun Air Dornier 328JETs. They had to park the fire engines in front of them to prevent them from blowing away. The wind was also strong enough to allow the Pipers to take off with a runway distance of 0 meters. (Not that we tried).

If the pipers could take off with no take off roll, then it would be stupid to try to taxi to the runway... One little error and you are in the air :lol:
