Haven't been in Copenhagen, so that's probably why I've never seen holes in Denmark

At least the roads are safer than this one in Bolivia:

Whose idea was it to place a road, next to a potential drop of several hundred meters, and not having any guard rails?

How about the old main road from Gudvangen to Voss? Until 1990 it was the main road. Today it is a uni-directional road closed for big traffic. I mean, a 4 metre wide road for the main Oslo - Bergen connection? With 14 hairpin bends and a steepness of up to 25%, I think it did enter the "dangerous road" category ;)

I've never driven there, so I don't know. I suppose it's better now? :P Hairpin bends, no one is as epic as Trollstigen.

Okay that last one was kinda epic but why not just make some gentle curves instead of like random hairpin bends. Like in the lower part.

It was made around 150 years ago, not so much consideration for buses back then ;) Besides, it climbs ~450 metres, so soft curves would be hard to do. And where is the fun in soft curves?

Imagine all the crashes!

Stalheim looks strikingly similar to that picture you posted. Could it be the same?  :P

Here's an incredible view of Lysefjorden: (and the road)
