America World Airlines has launched its new Frequent Flyer Program today. The Program is Called "Patriot Points". Points earned on a flight are based on actual mileage. One point equals one mile and everyone earns a minimum of 500 points on every flight. For example, any passengers flying between Portland, Maine and Daytona Beach, Florida via New York-Kennedy will earn 500 points on their flight from Portland to New York, as the flight is less than 500 miles. Points accumulated on the New York-Daytona Beach leg will be awarded based on the actual mileage between the two cities.
Members will be assigned an eight digit Patriot Points Number for access to their account when calling to America World Airlines to book flights or just to see how many miles they have. There are also two levels of membership:
Patriot: This is the term we will use for General Members of our Frequent Flier Program.
Executive: This is the term we will use for Patriot Points Members who have achieved elite status in our program. In order to achieve elite status, you must accumulate 75,000 Patriot Points. There is no time limit and points do not expire!
