America World Airlines has finally launched its planned service between our New York Hub and Toledo, Ohio today.  America World Airlines had been wanting to serve Toledo for more than two years and we never had the right planes to do it.  We found some extra plane time with one of our Boeing 707 jets so we decided to fill in the gap and go in to this market that we wanted to add to our route map.  Tickets are on sale for $170.00.

America World Airlines has finally brought back daily service between New York and Cancun today after financial difficulties due to a bad economy forced us to pull out of this popular destination a while back.  Service to Cancun is on our Boeing 737-200 Adv with one daily flight.

America World Airlines has seasonally suspended service from Raleigh/Durham to Panama City, Florida today.  The airline cited lack of demand and no aircraft availability.  CEO Evan Kisseloff has indicated that Panama City will still retain service to New York despite the drop in service to Raleigh/Durham.  Service between Raleigh/Durham and Panama City, Florida is expected to resume on a year round basis in approximately one month using the 80 passenger DC-9-11.

America World Airlines has reinstated nonstop service between New York-Kennedy and London-Heathrow today, making our fifth European destination from New York.  America World Airlines previously operated daily service from New York to London during our major hub operation at Heathrow Airport.  Upon pulling down that hub, the service was dropped and moved to Paris.  Now with our stable financial situation and our modest expansion on transoceanic flights, America World Airlines has found economic conditions viable for reinstating our New York-London service.  Tickets are now on sale for $339 round trip.

America World Airlines has loaded capacity and doubled the frequency to two of our major hubs.  Service between New York-JFK and St. Louis now has two daily flights on the Convair 990, an upgrade from one daily flight on the Boeing 737-200.  "Our new hub operation in St. Louis has proven very successful," says CEO Evan Kisseloff, "we want to maximize the connectivity between the two hubs to other cities on our route network.
