hmmmmmmm........ how about 'go go dancer airlines' the airline with the best stewardesses around, or "bargirl airlines" where every seat is first class.

i did what yourfired mentioned, i emailed a competitor and asked him to price so we can both get 80+lf on the route and make money, he didnt reply and keeps undercutting me by a couple $$. So a price war may start out of that hub, that is part of business I guess. try to cooperate, if no, then go for all you can get or force them out of the market

I might be in my 40's and living in a 3rd world country and therefore out of the loop, but I believe the word for that behaviour is "griefing" if what i read is correct about being an ass in a mmo game. true, some players do roleplay and price wars might happen due to it, but it doesnt sound like that is the case here (laughing), not if every route they have is going at 30$ a flight.

Just a question everyone. If i have 10 gates at a hub and I want to build a 10 gate terminal, do i return all my rented gates and have all my routes transfer to my new terminal gates with the associated savings?

Slippy, i agree with you on the no profits for a month after you edit a route, might not be realistic, but sure would make people wait till their route was lower LF before we all had to start the button pushing game.

Well now I know this is nothing at ALL to do with real life economics (laughing) I make more money on a small plane from san juan to dallas than I do with a large aircraft flying from san juan to charle de gaulle. I am not complaining, I am actually here laughing. I was testing a theory that a friend in the game told me and well it is true as far as i can see it. I fly  long distance international in real life all the time (due to work) and I know how much it costs, maybe a tweak on long range pricing should be thought about in AM.

Fleur,

I know what you are saying, at my Manchester hub the other guy based there is undercutting every route i have and every route he is doing it on has a 737 on it (laughs) and he is worth 10% of my worth so you are right about not know how things add up sometimes. Well it is only a game.

I have a lot of routes for me, but it is only 460. I am not only adjusting prices once my LF hits less than 80 because it is to much to keep up with. At one of my hubs another airline is constantly undercutting me by a few euros. I could have played that "war game" with him, but instead i sent him a message and basically said "lets work together so we both make money". If he doesnt want to do that, no problem I can play that price war game with him. I can afford it he cant. So I hope he will keep the "spirt of the game" in mind and we can both make 85%lf at that hub and we both make money. I sure hate changing routes all the time to keep them at my 80 lf i like. I do agree that someone with 2000+ routes either A)has scripts helping him, or B)absolutely  has no life what so ever to be keeping up with them (laughing) if they are over 95% that is. I really enjoy the game but the more I play I am realizing that it isnt a simulation just a formula based game (smiles) that can be manipulated

wow i really must be a backwoods airline company. On one route I started today (domestic) My only competition is a 747 (laughing) On a shorter domestic flight. Now that airline has money coming out its azz to be able to do that. I actually got a good little laugh sitting here at my computer.

yes i use the gate search iranair, what i suggest is that you can highlight the tabs in the gate search to put them in order by range or pax like how in view and buy you can sort your planes by various tabs,

air elbonia, thank you for doing what you can, and for what you do. I think what you said about having pissed off players is a great reason to have a professional player game.

the round is going very nicely for me now. I am slowly starting to repay considerations to other companies who have helped Honduras Air. The game is very enjoyable. From making so many routes i have a suggestion. when we do gate searches, it would be nice if you could highlight the 'range' or 'passenger' columns so they could be in order by size, would make finding routes so much easier
