I went Camping once(don't think its the typ your say, but its funny)

Well my mom is from New Zealand, And well me my dad, mom, and sis went camping in the mountains by Lake Tahoe, NV. My mom was horrible, she was complaining this is nothing like  camping in New Zealand. There was no grass, just dirt. Was not Ocean by( she camped at the beaches as a child on holidays with her parents). She also hated that there was warning of Bears, Snakes etc. As in New Zealand no Bears, Snakes are found.

This was like 5years ago and we haven't gone camping since

Yeah there's only sheep to be found in NZ :P

Well around here camping is mainly done in forests, so we try not to atract bears, wolves or coyotes. Snakes arent a problem tough. But the worst is mosquitoes. I once went in a national park about 100 km up north from here for a fishing trip. i couldn't stand it. And i like fishing!
