Well if that is the attitude of even the mods ie 'I disagree with you so I'm going to lock the thread' and 'playing the game like an idiot is OK so f**k you', then I don't have any further interest in the game.
Kudos to Stephen for a brilliant concept and programming skills, just a pity that it's the kind of game that always brings out the carrots in people.

Agreed. Players not playing in the spirit of the game should be heavily penalised.
I think this was mentioned last round, but perhaps we need a game for 'grown-ups' and a separate game for the children and those who enjoy spoiling the game for others.
Those who make 1 euro routes and use unrealistic freqs (>4) on a route should have their airline moved to the 'kids game' where they can slog it out amongst themselves.
Just my 2 Euros worth

Bugs / Load Factor Bug?

This was mentioned in another thread but that's been locked now without any resolution as far as I can tell.
One of my routes had dropped to 91%, I went to edit it, dropped the fare a bit and hit 'update information' and the load factor reduced further to 88.27%. Reduced the fare further to get LF back to 100%.
Just that initial fare adjustment seems to have the wrong LF effect.

Ah OK sorry i misunderstood the rules  :oops:  The only bug is in my brain :?  
Sorry to double post, it wasn't intentional - my internet slows to a crawl at lunchtime as everyone in the office goes on ebay or facebook and I hit submit twice when it froze.
I went back to delete the second post but it was locked already.

I got 4 gates rented at my city but when I try to create base, my city does not show on the drop down menu.
Am I missing something?

General Chat / Why can't I make this route?

Hmm OK lets see if I got this right...
So the turn time for the Beech is 11 mins right? Or 22 mins for a round trip.
If I take that off the time left on the aircraft (2 hours) leaves 98 mins available for flying.
At a speed of 247nm/h (4.1 nm/min) It can only do 403nm.
Which is why I can't do the 452nm round trip.
Is that right?

I have 2 hours left on my Beech which has a speed of 247. So I should be able to do a 1.0 route of up to 494nm right?
So why can't I make a route that is 452nm round trip?
Does the turn time come into it? I don't fully understand how the turn time affects things.
Any explanations gratefully accepted

Noobish question...
As the fare slashers start to move into my base, I'm trying to work out a minimum fare that I can go down to to keep a route in profit - does the profit figure shown for each route take into consideration the gate rental for that route?

I ordered an aircraft from the manufuacturer and it will be ready in 24 days. How will I know when it is ready and what do I have to do to get it? I don't see it listed in 'my requests' or anywhere.
