It's has never crashed as of yet.

Then there's the fact that basing in a large airport means spending LOTS of time editing routes later on...

Well, I'm sure you wouldn't, but you'll have to wait a couple of days on account of their delivery time being 120hrs.

Ouch...
And I was whining that Airbus A320s took 72 days to deliver....

Don't be snarky - profitable enough, as I did point out before I refreshed the bloody page and had to re-do the post.

e: for reference, this is a comparison of income/maintenance on a few planes to compare with those two; these are all the "best" example I'm running at the moment:

Il-18D: 327000 income/day, 47000 maintenance/day
Tu-114D (at least, being based in Russia, I have an excuse for using these ridiculous things): 332935 i/day, 75000maint/day
Tu-154B: 443700 i/day, 87000 i/day

Now, if you really want whining about profitability, wait till you see the numbers on the IL-86s I ordered.

I wouldn't mind seeing them...

Thanks guys. I built the terminal, and quite frankly, I think I'm better off now.
It only costs a million to extend it, paying off (as opposed to renting it) in a few months.

I have heard that the Supersonic aircraft are not exactly great on a mojority of routes just due to their high fuel burn, not even speed seems to help make up for that. Really, the only situation that you should buy one is just for prestege (in other words just to brag).

Well, I'll do that once I can afford to brag....

What should I do if there are no gates left in my base?
Are extra gates ever added in?

I know the obvious answer would be to build a terminal, but do remember that I'm a smaller airline (Around 7 Million DOP)
and I don't relish the idea of spending 33 Million on building a terminal. However, I would like to ask if unused gates at a terminal are flagged for unuse.

Also, 1 more thing. If I have 4 gates rented at Munich, and then I build 6 Terminals, then would I have to close my routes to return the rented gates, or would I just be able to return, meaning the system doesn't have a difference between terminal gates and rented gates.

Sorry if I don't make sense....

Bugs / Loadfactor Bug!!!

Half the time, it actually allows me to increase the ticket price...
(Say Price is at 555 for 94% Load, It allows me to increase to 560 before I get to 99%)

Why do they have such a bad rep?
When I was going to get one, nwadeltaboy (aka Natey) went beserk on me, claiming that they suck and are a waste of money.
Are they really that bad?

Have any of you order a lot of planes, to find that later on you were too lazy to make the routes?
This happens to me a lot, typically I don't make routes for planes 2-3 (game) months after they're built.
Right not I have around 15 Boeing 737s sitting around with 24 hours left

Any of you?
