Aviation accounts for 2% of global emissions =P
while all the servers around the world account for much, much more

I would, but the amount of computers I see around the world left on (school for eg) needlessly overnight plus the lights anger me.

I have five computers in my room, plus another four or five in other rooms of the house left on 24 hours a day. >.> NOM NOM NOM ELECTRICITY NOM NOM NOM

Pople in this world live for profit. That's why we still use oil and other crap. The world has enough renewable energy to keep us powered (geothermal, especially).

Take a look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs for why people do what they do. :)

Have a look at the Zeitgeist movement. thezeitgeistmovement.com
Although some of the stuff they say there might not never happen, but there are ways of stopping global warming and stuff like that.
