Alliance Bug?

Hello all,

I run Air Dixie in PW 350...I just joined the Star Alliance and rented a gate at an airport listed as a hub (Edmonton) and tried to run a flight from there...but it will not let me. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, most definitely. Oh, welcome to AM and its forums. Stephen or some other educated nut can and will hopefully give you the exact answer you need - I've never had to deal with this before. :(

I only see one nut case in this forum... (hint: look in the mirror, blue ;) :P)

It is the "joined alliance, but alliance is not showing up in my corporate page" bug...

I do have a similar problem in Private world 444 . with Oneworld alliance. I am able to start routes from one of the partners bases but the other 2 seems to not com in the drop down box. Please help.....

Forgive me for being slow to get to this, it's been a busy few days.

If I may simply list bases:

Amsterdam [AMS]   0 [yours]
Atlanta [ATL]   16 [avail]
Chicago O Hare [ORD]   6 [yours]
Dallas/Ft.Worth [DFW]   12 [avail]
Frankfurt [FRA]   0 [yours]
Hong Kong [HKG]   7 [avail]
Madrid [MAD]   0 [yours]
Milan Malpensa [MXP]   0 [yours]
New York JFK [JFK]   25 [FULL]
Paris Charles De Gaule [CDG]   0 [yours]

As of the moment in time I looked, the above is true.  Your alliance has a cap of 25 routes out of any alliance partner's base (this is shared alliance-wide).  Those with the actual base itself are exempt from this count.  As you can see, JFK does not appear in the dropdown, and this is because the full 25 routes already exist within your alliance's ranks.  All other bases which are NOT yours appear, at present, as available.  Your bases appear in your section, and do not repeat in the alliance section.

plainsfire I believe yours is likely a similar situation, but I will look into it right now to confirm.

Plainsfire: if Edmonton at the time had 15 routes (your alliance's cap), it would not appear as a possible origin.  If it had the present 14 routes, there may be an issue.  There's a good many bases, and at the moment they all appear to be following the game's rules for availability properly (however with that many bases, I did not take a proper fine-toothed comb over the results).  Any base for your alliance which has 15 alliance routes [again, members with an actual base at the airport are not included in this count] will not appear in the dropdown menu for create route.

Thanks for your Reply but my issue is not that. My Allaince partners have other bases namely Los Angeles, LAs vegas. which is not appearin on my menu.

I think its clear. Please let me know if you require any more info..

The usual problem here is that the gates are not updated with the alliance id. Just a point in the right direction!

Sorry, try now.  I ran the patch query for world 444.  Pondering now where to add it in the code to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I have an Alliance Bug as well...

I've created and alliance and my Bases are not appearing in the other members lists as alliances bases, I can only use their bases but they can't use mine (the creator of the alliance).. why is that?
Can someone check that out for me?
