Thats a long few seconds your having over there.

It really isn't 20cm. I love the way here, we get a sprinkle and over 1000 schools are shut. Stupid.

We get about 1cm of snow and all the schools are closed, although I'm usually long gone by the time school actually closes!   We also get people riding kayaks down snow covered mountain roads...

Snow in Dublin is driving me nuts! Its not even snow, if you step on it, it immediatly turns into water, walking to school was barely possible, seriously, you don't know what I mean. It looks like normal snow, but underneath are flooded streets, your shoes get soaked.

Well the common term here is that its not "sticking". Not even slushy. Anyway, it should stop soon.

20cm! We have had over 50-60 inches (do your own conversion :P) in December alone. This is the total for the whole month. We rarley ever get school closed, but when we get pelted - the schools sometimes don't close and when they do, we have to stay indoors because there is so much snow. You can't forget about -50 degree wind chills! We've had it way worse than you! :'(
