Do you remember when AM was:

pink
oversaturated
when there where funny names such as Thousands of Cathay Pacific with various branches such as AFrican Division or cathay pacific CAnada?? or to a lesser extent airlines named KLM-USA?
flooded with €1 routes and a lot of people where complaining?
or popular airline ads that everybody admired?
Do you still remember Daniel?? AM police? good in finding cheaters and scolding a lot of us for posting non sense topics.
I myself wasn't really here when the game started. But what I've lived is what i treasure most. AM has really given wonderful memories and kept me interested in aviation.

oh yes
When I first join, people were pulling me into different alliances. Haha.. the end, i chose blueskies! :D
Everyone use to advertise like "opposite of heaven". Alliances were always rivals... hahahh. And many alliances required you to wear tags like lets say United Sky Group, airlines had to have this:
AirlineName [USG]
hehe :P
The hot pink... ooh lala... so memorable... stephen was outraged by it though... i think... :D And the easy menus! Airline names were so ridiculous, like wat blumage mentioned, Cathay Pacific - African Branch :P
The most important: Airline Mogul Defense Forces (AMDF). Two words to describe. Strict and Efficient. They even took money away from my airline! heheh... they returned it though.
Saturation? *sigh* A wave of hongkie players caused HKG to saturate :P Every corner of the world was like saturated. And the historic era that everyone kept complaining about :P. And i still remember how active the forum was. Everyone would spam everyone's reports... hahah.. people were so co-operative. then again, the forum was silent when the 2 day break starts when the one and only world ends, waiting to be restarted. And once, the starting aircraft was a BAe 146! It was a compensation for late start.

The game was so memorable. Everyone was complaining, yet they were happy. Funny airline names were everywhere, people celebrating on their airline reports just because they flew a route from Los Angeles to San Fransisco, people mentioning airline names or IDs and getting scolded by AMDF, etc. Airline Mogul gave me good memories, which i will for ever treasure.

Airline Mogul: The airline economic simulation that everyone complains about how fun and addictive it is.

The AM I most fondly remember was when the user numbers were under 200, I knew nearly all players, the first 50-70 I had on MSN and spoke to each of them. But I also spent 2 hours in the morning when I got up bug fixing from the 8 hours previously, the game was an awful mess at the time!

Who said your dead?? I was just going through my memories. It was entertaining how the AM comunity used to fear you. You sure locked a lot of threads. And was really good in catching cheaters. USers with emails like jondoe@email.com,jondoe2@email.com,jondoe3@email.com
There was also an issue about people using hong kong something account which i forgot, if memory is not failing. In the end you were really a savior! protecting us honest players against cheaters!!!

@blumage: You spoke about me like I am no longer in the picture... kind of like how people talk about the passed-aways... ^-^
And no, not everyone has the same opinion as you do (although under the dictatorship of this forum, none other opinion could be heard :P)

@pck: I believe that you have something you / your family member(s) need(s) to tell me...

Yeah, I remember that.  Stephen's was the AM logo, but with rain.  There was one world, overly oversaturated :P.  I was lucky to rent a gate at LHR at one point, and never saw another one available again.  Jps had the highest post count.  There were actually people posting in the Gate Market forum .  There was the SwiftIRC #airlinemogul channel with Jps and Y.  You had to go through an obnoxiously long process to rent a gate.  And, of course, I was nwaboy. :D

ow, remember when you had to bargain with other players just to get a gate. I remember those days, staying up late just for month change to see if a gate would become open.
