Hey there! Please dont move this thread because it wont get any replies ^-^

So, I had FS9... I knew how to get additional planes in you went to a site saved.... opened....extracted...lookded for it in a file... then moved it to Microsoft Flight Simulator and plopped into aircrafts and if its was just a texture... into the specific aircraft file.

Now, I have FSX ( :D ).
Unfortunately.... none of the ones ive added are working... My AS and UA 737-800s....BA747-400....Someoether airlines 737-300. So I am sad. :'(

Is the proccess the same for FSX?

Now, for AI Traffic.... I am a little confused on the subject. Does the game automatically create AI traffic with planes that you have added on into the game? Or is there some program that you have to add.

AND... dont you have to downlaod/create flightplans for some airports... e.g. Im not sure the game will have incorperated SEA-CPH, CPH-SEA, etc to see AI planes flown on that route?

Thanks, Nicholas :)

As far as I know, AI traffic is only created based on a set of flight plans in the game. The only AI flights done are the "scheduled" ones in FSX. This means that, as no AI flight plans have been created for your newly added planes, they will never appear as AI traffic. You can get/create flight plans from the internet for your new planes. You may need software to install them.

This is just based on what I have gathered from various sites. I haven't actually downloaded any extra flight plans into FSX. I have a few added planes (and some extra textures for FSX default planes), but I have never seen any of them as AI traffic.

In terms of FSX air traffic, if you want a free option try http://world-of-ai.com/ - Gives you decently realistic traffic.

I want to create a few of my own flightplans, so is there a flightplan creator/compilor prgram that works in FSX?
