Here's my projects, and their goal releases.  We're talking big projects and not the smaller ones.  The farther down the list, the less likely it'll be here by game-year 2000.  I pledge to have 1 completed by 2000.  hopefully i pledge to have through 6 done by the end of the 2000 age.

1.  New create/edit/close route pages with new formulas and one-way flights.  *Completed*

2.  Redesign the backend of the leases, so we can get durations actually working properly, and fees for early cancellations. *backend done, the rest for next age*

3.  A small revamp of, and full integration of, the brokerage system, in game.   All players will be able to participate without looking at the forums, and there will be great potential for an improvement in speed/responsiveness of brokers.  *Half done.*.  Sale of planes only for now.

4. Site redesign assistance. *Relatively done.*

5. Addition of for lease stuff to new broker system for game-brokers. *needs to be done*

6. Correction of present handling of inactive and deleted airlines, some backend issues. *needs to be done*

7.  Fix alliance system in full. *in process*

8.  Extend and fill out the various modifications to demand/sources of revenue on a flight.  Hubs, Bases, and focus cities. *after PFL*

9. Improved, integrated new airport suggestions page.  (Where you can add airports to the game, but they will still need final approval by admins). *done*

10.  Hella more stuff, loans/stocks/etc.  We'll see what happens.  This is far far off.

Sounds good. Does this mean that we'll have a re-set in 2000?

Seen as we're only in 2007 now, I take it the reset after 2000 will be after 7 years? Will the game then be reset back to 1960 or somethin?

How about 1900 and you all start off with a Wright Flyer. :)

LOL!
What will the start plane be in 2000? An ATR42 or something, or annother DHC-8-300?

747? Please? :)

But a Wright Flyer would be cool. I can already envision it.

Wright Flyer. Speed: 30mph. Max range: 800ft. Seats: 1.

It'd be great! For like, Kittyhawk Town Centre to Kittyhawk Beach routes.

That is too generous. Dash 8-200 should do it ;-)

Would a new routemap also be considered and for there to be different regions below the map that you could click on as opposed to viewing a cluttered world map, i.e. Europe, North America, Central & South America, Middle East, etc. I think this would be a good improvement for the View Information section of each airline.

Dash-8-300 most likely.

As it would be starting in 2000 as opposed to 1989, would it not make sense to provide a more modern default aircraft such as the ATR 42-500?

Three possible options:
ATR-42-500 (1995)
Saab 2000 (1995)
Antonov An-140 (1999) - Most likely given the release date.

What I could do is the same setup to AE where you select your aircraft from a limited number of options, such as the 3 above, and may be the ATR72 but you get reduced cash with the latter.
