And at final, whatfor to call this airport in the game Pulkovo-2, as Pulkovo-2 is only 1 terminal, there is also Pulkovo-1. So my new suggestion is just to call it Saint Petersburg Airport(as that is written on the front of the airport), or just Pulkovo Airport. In AM Amsterdam Airport (NL) is also not called Schiphol airport which is its real name.

And what about the suggested name change, as the 2 in Pulkovo-2 is really ridiculous, you also don't attach the terminal numbers to the other airports right?

The usual source for airport information listed the airport as Pulkovo-2 as an alternative name. It may be of benefit to find a more accurate source in that case. For the moment the -2 has been removed.

I don't know about the 'usual source', but my source is the website of Pulkovo Airport (Saint Petersburg): http://www.pulkovoairport.ru/eng/about_pulkovo/. And from my own experience (i fly there 3 to 4 times/year), the whole airport is called Pulkovo Airport (Saint Petersburg), with the seperation of Pulkovo-1 (Saint Petersburg) = domestic & cis countries, and Pulkovo-2 (Saint Petersburg) = international terminal.

PAX Numbers seperated: Pulkovo-1: 2 879 639, Pulkovo-2: 3 258 166, which totals Pulkovo Airport (Saint Petersburg): 6,137,805.

The usual source for our data is the Great Circle Mapper. That is where we get the co-ordinates, and normally runway data. The names are also usually alright.

Usually they're right, true. But the GCM also tells you that Pulkovo Airport is near Leningrad. As you maybe know, the city of Leningrad was renamed in 1991 to Saint Petersburg.

Put it differently: A passenger flying from moscow(SVO,DME,VKO) to Saint Petersburg(LED) will arrive at Pulkovo terminal 1. If then in AM the airport is called Pulkovo-2, it's simply not realistic . That's the same as calling Frankfurt, Frankfurt-2

By the way, russian airport data in AM needs a serious update, as the names are all mixed up. Some airports are known by their name, others are called after the city they serve.

However, for the russian airports there are statistics available around. Maybe the airport itself does not have a website, but there's still the government/region websites which have pax amount.
