If you read carefully, it says "Filter Aircraft Out by Name".

That means, you check the aircraft you DON'T want to view. Yes, kind of backwards, and I hope the admins can switch it around.

I hope they don't. :P

If the aircraft you're looking for is not available, you can't add it to the filter. That would mean wading through pages and pages of starting a/c to get to where we want to go. It would also mean that, with active filters, we might miss a few opportunities.

By filtering out instead of in, we simply get rid of the models that have absolutely no interest to us.

The idea is that "I don't want to see Hotters or XYZ aircraft" but you may want to view a whole range of others.

But what if I only want to view only one aircraft type? It'll take forever to check all those boxes except that aircraft.

The top check box, next to Filter Aircraft Out by Name selects all, then deselect the ones you do not want.

I am not sure if it works. I don't think it did when I tried.

There was another discussion on the matter. It filters out based on the type/engine variant rather than the type name. It will be looked at shortly.

It is not a browser/cookie bug.
