-Virgin Atlantic (newest iteration): Again, it's simple, modern, fits in with their brand image. You'd recognize a Virgin Atlantic plane anywhere.

thats cause usually blond females and 20-30 something year olds travel with them and they wont know the difference between a mango and a melon  :D

Favourites
1. China Airlines old livery. Simply because it carried our national flag and the overall design was very classical.
2. United Airlines 80s livery. The livery looked smart.
3. China Airlines current livery. I love it because there's my favourite flower on it.
4. United Airlines battleship livery, Looked good in reflections of the sunlight.
5. BOAC. It seemed like a masterpiece in terms of old free world airlines' liveries.

Least Favourites
1. Every airline in Mainland China.
2. Air New Zealand. Way too simple.
3. US Airways new livery. Looks like the America West livery which looked cartoonish.
4. World Tails by BA. Looked horrible and no British culture at all.
5. Aeroflot old livery, the colors didn't match at all.

4. World Tails by BA. Looked horrible and no British culture at all.

Ah... I think you just contradicted yourself. British Culture is fairly diverse and the World Tails reflected Britain both past and present as a previous super power and the modern patchwork of nationalities within in the UK.

I'll have to disagree with you their Stephen... ... The thick black clouds of thunder appear ... The plan was not to have the British Airways plane look too British as 2/3 of the passengers were 'non-British'.
There was only one tail I felt represented 'Britain' out of the World Tails, Chatham Dockyard (And the Pause to Remember, but that was a special tail.) Covering the tails with a handkerchief was the best Idea I think.

Suppose a national airline's livery should portray the country's landscape, style, etc., but I can't see anything about Britain on some planes.(Of course except the text "British Airways")
