put all your observations and thoughts in here as you come across things that make you laugh, shake your head or whatever floats your boat!

i will start off:

- noticed someone flies a A330-300 on FRA-MUC @150€, what a brilliant tactic. the person must have saved a day or two and then wait for ages on delivery, just to make a whooping 300k dop with a 200m plane, ok using spare hours most likely, but still, the planechoice in this phase...

- noticed a player with thousands of routes maintaining an extreme lf, dude, its a game, its not worth your life.

- some people move all the way from let to j61 to f100 to bigger, while it might be most efficient, it surely sucks the motivation out of you without hotswap. i decided to skip alot of steps and go for a 170 seater straight away. it cost me alot of growth but now the benefits come in and i dont have to switch planes out in about 5 days, like all the other people. playtime optimization > growth optimization

- An airline had to change names due to political correctness.

- Yes, there is someone out there who seems to never sleep.

- An airline ranked #49 carries the 17th most passengers.

- Whenever I see the KFC CV5800, I immediately think of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

- An alliance has been named after a cartoon character and an actress, both from Japan.

- In the said alliance, "Flower Family" is a hilarious pun, pronounced as "Faa Kaa" in Cantonese.  What English word does that resemble?

- Another airline is called "faqU Air"

Very true :P

-Asia is big, why aren't there more airlines there than in north america or europe
-What is better - a 40 seater or a 400 seater?
-Why does the 747-400D take longer to get from jakarta to singapore than an ATR 72?
-Why did we wait so long for a 1990s world?
-We all want 100% loadfactor when that is not always true in real life
-A twin-engined Convair 880 would look awesome
-I like pie.  Why don't they serve it on airplanes?

I moved on to leasing too early and too suddenly (5 days into the game). Don't have the capital to buy airplanes.

However it does make good money without me doing much.

1. Because Europe and NA have a higher density of airports.
2. Definitely 40, sadly enough
3. Jakarta-Singapore is short, so turn time kills it.

W10 eh? Well..

*Seeing A319 w/4200 range @ 59M ~ Great "across the pond" plane.
*Still wondering why 772 cost more fuel burn then A343. ??
*Wondering if I should have payed more attention to W10 instead of W9 ..
*Looking at my airline fleet and thinking: RJ or ATR?!

I also think of KFC when looking at KFC CV5800. Though, it has good numbers compared to others in its class.
In AM, SAT is a hub.... -.-

If An-28's in-game range is 247, wats its RL range

(150nm?)

I think that "4200" is possible, if it's empty, remember, the stats used in the game are max distance numbers, and the speed is max speed (typically). The reason why a 772 has higher fuel burn than a A343 I guess is because of how all the numbers were put into the formula. Don't know where your airline is based out, but I would go T-prop for shorter routes, and RJ for the longer ones (though I don't know what you're operating here, so I can't be too much help).

Again, the numbers were taken from real life max range numbers. A quick check of Wiki (which apparently used A.net as a source) said that the range is 270. It wasn't exactly built as a long range aircraft, but a short range utility plane, and as a development of the smaller AN-14 (which [unsuccessfully] tried to replace the AN-2.) If you want a version of the AN-28 that can fly further than the older Soviet design, look at the Polish version (still being produced btw.), the PZL M-28 Skytruck. The Illustrated Dictionary of Modern Commercial Aircraft by Gunter Endres states it can fly 765nm with a typical payload. Wiki shows a similar number for the Skytruck.

"*Looking at my airline fleet and thinking: RJ or ATR?! "

Heh, yeah, using T-prop yields higher returns vs jet aircraft on short hops.

What I ment was I had* an equal number of CRJs and ATRs. So I was thinking, what am I? An RJ fleet or ATR fleet?

It was a lose "identity crisis" thought/ joke. Bleh, lost in translation  :P

Btw, I have more ATRs now xD !!
