Whenever I try to upload my logo in the game, it says that it is too wide. I already resized the image I want (in my signature) but how do I get that to fit in the game?

If you have GIMP, there is something called Image->Scale Image to get it to the appropriate dimensions. If you're using MS Paint, you can go into Image->Attributes and adjust the properties there.

what's the maximum width and height (in inches) that your picture can be?

The size limit is on the page where you upload your logo.

You want in inches... will centimeters do?

Size limit is defined in pixels. How much that represents in inches depends on the resolution of the picture.

Limits are: 300px (width) x 90px (height) and a maximum of 500KB for file size. Assuming 72dpi, that is 4.16" x 1.25". Assuming 300dpi, it is 1" x 0.3".

Here is an appropriately resized version:

There are a zillion programs that will resize pictures. In this case I used Corel Paint Shop Pro, but anything will do. GIMP will surely work. So will many others.

Take a look here, for instance: http://www.filehippo.com/software/graphics/

You just have to look for a "resize" function. Most graphics programs will have that option somewhere.

Another thing, and so as to not mess up the fonts, is to keep the aspect ratio. Most programs will have an option for this while resizing. In this case it meant going to 250x90 instead of 300x90px.

yeah i dont think Microsoft Paint has the aspect ratio as i cannot find the resizing function. Looks like I will have to download GIMP. Does GIMP gives you any viruses or anything to harm your computer when you download it?

Agreed. :D

@Cyon: I do recommend you switch from Imageshack to Photobucket.  It is sooooo much nicer.
