Apparently I just lost around 1 mil entering "no"

I went into join alliance and I accedentally chose "Please Select" and I joined???
Now Im 1,000,000 in the hole.

Well there isnt an alliance formed in W10 yet. It shouldnt have made you loose 1,000,000.
