Why is there such a little difference in profit between different frequencies?
For a 0.5 Frequency, I get about 46k.
For a 1 Frequency, I only get an extra 6k, and I spend TWICE the amount of time...

Shouldn't we make a bit closer to double the profit?
I know there are extra expenses, but still.

EDIT: I find this fairly consistent.
You only make an extra 20% at most for a lot of routes...

You can generally only make 2 0.5 frequency routes on any one plane, mind you :P

And that's why you should basically NEVER go above 1 freq on a route :)

I know that, but that still doesn't make sense...
IRL, airlines do two daily services for some routes, and I'm sure they don't run them at a loss....

But then they start competing with each other.  It's all about demand.  If theres only one flight every two days, people will pay much more money to get on it then if there was a flight every single day. :P

Well...
Still. I think that's a bit over-represented in AM.
Along with the lack of profit on Medium-Long Range routes.

Been talked about like a ton of times already.

Again, another supply-demand issue. In reality, you won't have (all cities on the map)-HKG, but rather a few select to HKG, that is why those flights charge $14K and not $700 for that route in most cases, it's because all the demand is filtering through from all the airports a specific airline (or it's partners) serve, so more people from all over the continent would want to fly that route than just a the few from the local city.

Is it possibly over-represented? I would suppose so, but with all the issues that concern it, I guess the best you can do is depend on that small LF Boost the "hub effect" should give you.

Good point, I suppose I'll stop complaining...
