My short-haul routes are now almost filled up. I'm now planning on going long-haul. I heard(read) that going long-haul is not really profitable, but I'm now having a difficult time finding new things to do in this game hehe.

I also ordered a Concorde, and will attempt an around-the-world tour within 24 hours. :D

In W3, there is no doubt that Tu-114D is the king of long hauls

Not as good as Tu-114D.

Just a seat more ,500nm less range and about 40 kts faster. 121m compared to Tu-114D's 71m. Which one do you think is worth the price?

(Not to mention that Convair 990 has higher MX cost.)

My apologies, then.

Yes, Convair 990s aren't that bad, too.

As was mentioned before, the Tu-114Ds are pretty good for general long hauls. The range is good, and the amount of seats is pretty decent, and for the price it's worth, it is a type that I would recommend to most airlines.

I have operated IL-62 (1970s round, early 2008) and A310s (last half of the 2000s round, late 2007) as long haulers in the past, as well as 777-300 (forgot the variant here, but around the same time as a A310), and while I liked how the first two operated for me the last was horrible, though that had more to do with my base than most anything else, possibly was too small of a pax number to handle that many seats.

Just a refresh on this topic.

Which is the best longhaul aircraft in W10?

The B767-300ER? Or maybe the A330-300LR? Discuss!

I reckon the B767-300ER is the most economical but I'm probably going to get A330s only because I want to run an all Airbus fleet.  8)

763ER- Not too big so fairly cheap, if you get the GE CF6s you have over 7000nm range for €171m. I've just ordered my first.

Yea I was thinking that too, the range is awesome for the price. I might order a couple and test out B763ER vs A330.

Is there any way to see all the stats for the engine variants of all the aircraft on one page? I too noticed that the 767 has a very good ranged variant, but I only found this when I decided to buy the normal version.
