Purchasing an aircraft

I just bought my first plane for my fleet and when I confirmed the order, it said it will take 24 days to build and deliver. Does this mean 24 real life days or game days?

Game Days It will be there in Exactly 24 hours . You Will have your plane tommorow same time you ordered it

BTW, a game month is 24 game days, not 30/31/28 game days

Yep... We'd have a pretty bad game if we had to wait 24 (real) days to get Aircraft.

Not sure where the best place to ask this is but where can I buy new aircraft (ie from the manufacturers). When I check the aircraft market, it is only the aircraft being sold by other airlines. I have searched for "new aircraft" but haven't found the answer.

If you go to the aircraft page, you will see two dropdowns on the right hand side. Select from the top one (Normal ordering from the manufacturer) either All or the manufacturer you want.

All right, figured it out. Next question is: What is the difference between buy and request? I apologize if this has already been asked a million times.

Buy means you pay for it yourself and order it there and then.
Request means you put it up for Public Brokering, and someone might order it for you.
The advantage of this is you pay only a small amount upfront up front and then the rest when you buy it off the broker.
Also, you have three months to pay, so it makes it a lot easier if you're short on cash

The problem is, in order to make brokers want to take your request, you should put it up with a positive markup, meaning you pay more in the long run.
