:)  Well, This is my 3rd Airshow, and the 3rd Airshow in YSCH's life ( I believe ), I went to see the last one in 2002 and it was great! This one had to top it off, but nothing can beat my Richmond Experience 2006  :)

I Didn't take as much pictures as planned, I simply was more intrested in watching and totally forgot.. sorry, but im sure a simple search in A.NET will give you results.. anyway.. The show was pretty eventful, and very uneventful.. especially that 35min wait for the roulettes.. was that boring

I was lucky to be able to have a one-on-one conversation with Aaron Ferrari, The 7th roulette, me and a friend just talked about how he got into his profession, and the qualifications etc.. Very intresting to find out he started just like me and my friends in the AAL (Australian Air League) he was in the AAL too, in the Sale squadron down in Victoria, then he started flying the Caribou around Australia and Pacific, now he is in the roulettes! I failed to get a picture or signature, they called him off to commentate on his Wingmen that where already in flight.

The show finished off with a totally amazing Performance by the roulettes, I watched in awe, in the perfect position under the flight path, They did nearly every trick and stunt in the book!, I cannot explain how much of a good job they did that day, you had to be there (sadly not any Pictures, i left my Camera in the AAL Hangar) I only managed 1 shot of the roulettes doing a fly-over when they arrived at CFS. All this reminds me why I even began dreaming of a career in Aviation, and sure did reinforce it.

So I may warn firstly, 56k users (which includes me at the moment) Beware of the wait for loading my pictures.

- The Airshow had a lot of display's, This Vintage Car display was great to look around at, please ignore the Hyundai Excel parked next to the Red Mustang
-yes they Had also a total display of vintage Bikes, and other awesome bikes.. Sorry Dave, only this picture, I can assure you there were some nice beast's here, especially the Paris-Dakar display.
- The Old PBY, here EVERY Show, and sometimes stops at CFS for fuel stops, Always nice to see! I wish I could fly in one of these sometime in my life..
- the P51 Mustang!!!! YES! It Performed 3 Aerial Flights, including one Demo Strafe across the airfield (explosion/fireworks :) )
- GET OUT OF MY WAY CROWD!! these Fence's they leased where terrible for an airshow, In richmond they had a small rope, and orange protecting fence to hold people in, not a full on Detention Center Wall system..

- Thats better  :) , The sound of that engine humming is music to my ears, you can feel the vibrations in your body even from this distance.
- CFS had a LOT of Historical Aircraft come down, real beauties.

- Oh whered you come from! the Roulettes arrive, and That stupid Fence destoryed all plans for a nice photo
- All in line, It even looked like they synchronised engine shutdown too
- Ohh that is nice, I don't know too much about these oldies, im sure someone can answer, whats this aircraft? I guess Hellcat, but Thats a bit large for one..

- We had a lot of aerobatics on display, totally awesome to see. Amazing! This i believe was Tom Moon.

- Sure was a crowd.
- Roulettes again!
- Mustang did a demo Strafe across the airfield, at a simulated Tank (AKA= Straw hay)

- Some nice Pyrotechnics effects :)
- PBY again
- Ohh the "Connie" My favourite of the old school airliners, This Airshow theres now a $5 fee to see inside it, I chose to buy a Sausage roll instead, I have seen it all in the Last airshow and when it stopped by for a fuel stop one time (thanks to our CO at AAL)
- Gotta love it, now thats a plane!
- More PBY
- A nice little Drover by the looks!
- OHH! I want this Colombia 400!!! Thats a beauty, Only 400K for a STANDARD version with no added options!

- Now, Guess what this Cockpit's from?

- VH-AVR, Cessna Skyhawk SP, WOW! Thats one beauty of a Cockpit.. First Glass Cockpit in a cessna   , Thats one nice bird that i drooled over for half the show.

The Airshow was a great day out, Apart from that stupid fence, it was great! Sorry for some of the image quality being degraded, I'm sure my Point-N-Shoot cannot compare to some of the Camera's at the show, I saw redicously large Len's, Far enough to catch a 744 at FL370 from the ground.

Today i was watching all the aircraft depart back to their various bases, some of the oldies flew around Coffs for a few more Hours, just doing circuits. Was a great day. No Accidents whatsoever, apart from a car crash at the entrance which caused a 3-lane delay.. There where also a lot of Russian birds, the Yak and the AN-2 where on site, a great site too. the Yak ?? flew some aerobatics and done some burnouts on the tarmac in front of us!!!!  8)  We where also expecting an F/A-18 display, and F111 Display, but it looks like they couldn't make it for this one.. I suppose where not in richmond

There also was a flight simulation stall, the man from the "coffs Flight Simmers"told me about this revolutionary game called "Microsoft Flight Simulator"    and strangely warned me from purchasing FSX, as it is not yet supported with everything that makes FS intresting..  He was amazed when i landed the Qantas Dash-8-300 at Coffs Airport first attempt, He obviously didn't know that I have done this before   heheh

Thanks for viewing!
