Which is basically exchanging real money for in game money. Thats a big no, on our list. Why should people with money (real life) have an advantage over those without?

My formulas are trapped on the desktop until saturday, i've been trying to plot out how the GUI is going to be set up.

Tokens->planes will never happen.  I'm not allowing any direct material impact to pay-for-play vs free-play within a world.  Even if it's available to free players (i.e. through tokens, not direct cash exchange), it's often frustrating for new players and provides unfair advantages.  Besides, "Exchanging tokens for Me to get extra planes, and potentially give me an advantage over competition" tends to sound good, "Others exchanging tokens for themselves to get extra planes, and potentially give them an advantage over Me" tends not to sound as good to people.

Dan380, I'll see if i can't run prelim numbers on that scenario, however I cannot guarantee that any numbers are finalized.  I'll assume default settings wherever not specified, and break it down to estimated present flat rates where applicable.  the variable stuff is relatively set in stone, some minor tweaking left.  the fixed incremental charges are a little more open at the moment to change.

formula wise i'm still about 90% happy with the variable portions, fixed portions are still just a range of possibles (depending on how the numbers look).

I've got a sketch of the GUI as I think it should be, I've gotta get it to Stephen and Balint for feedback and then Balint to help code it (He's far better then myself at AJAX, which it needs methinks).

once the formulas themselves are finalized, build the costing engine (which will be relatively easy), drop the backend into the front-end, and we should be good to rock.  Sorry i've been busy with work, moving, yelling at Verizon people in the past week or so, so this project has seen only small attention.

Moving is sometimes hard. Me and my dad always have to yell at Verizon for something. We end up leaving or waiting for about and hour while other people are being helped.

We wont be fixing deadlines just yet. But it should be fast enough once the GUI is done.
