The Russia/Greece Bullcrap is just so annoying. Why do people think many countries (like the UK) don't take it seriously anymore? Because it is impossible to win due to neighbour voting. Russia would have done well, no matter what their song was, same for Greece, same for many other groups of countries - Balkans, Turk-Middle Eastern, Ex-USSR, Scandanavia...

Most countries have at least one partner - the UK usually gets points from Ireland and so forth.

Joint 23rd is about the best we could have hoped for. Latvia or Spain should have won. Dance the Pirate Chiki Chiki!
ho said aviation sites were sexist?

Spains song was crap. I only saw a few songs unfortunately. And I have yet to see Russia's entry.

Italy withdrew because of all the politics involved and the fact it was no longer a fair event - same reason why other countries like Austria have pulled out and UK, France, Germany and Spain are threatening to.

Ireland won 7 Eurovisions contests! Thats more than everyone! It was Russia's first time this year. Russia came 2nd last year though, hated that song last year whoever won the eurovision.
