The 2008 Sichuan earthquake occurred at 14:28:04.1 CST (06:28:04.1 UTC) on 12 May 2008,[2] with its epicenter in Wenchuan County (Chinese: 汶川县; Pinyin: Wènchuān Xiàn), Sichuan province of the People's Republic of China. It had a magnitude of 7.8 Ms according to the State Seismological Bureau of China and 7.9 Mw according to the United States Geological Survey. The epicenter was 90 kilometres (55 miles) west-northwest of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan.[3] The earthquake was felt as far away as Beijing and Shanghai, where office buildings swayed with the tremor,[4] Pakistan,[5] Thailand,[5] and Vietnam.[6]

With 12,012 recently confirmed dead so far,[7] it was the deadliest and strongest earthquake to hit China since the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, which killed approximately 250,000 people.[8]

I mean China has millions of troops and money ready to aid. Burma earlier on was hit by a cyclone. Plus they are not letting in aid. Wouldn't that cyclone kill more?

If I would pray I'd rather pray for burma to get a better type of government  (probably for China as well, but at least they know not to carry on riding a dead horse- if you know what I mean...)

Tbh I'd rather pray (Not that I would) for the victims of the Myanmar Cyclone. They're a lot worse off, at least the Chinese have rescuers..

I seriously hope that was tongue in cheek.
That's about the most disgusting thing I've heard today. It's the tyrants running Myanmar. Do you think dying victims in Myanmar are refusing help?

The governments in each country are about as bad as each other though.
