Well Lebanon is a very mixed country
In Lebanon u can find jews , christians , muslims , hindu etc.... thats what used to make the country so special plus lebanon is the only arab world where christians are the majority and also the only arab country where the president should be christian. And thats why Lebanon is a very open minded country

Iran support the "Shia" in Lebanon which are somehow represented by "Hezbollah" . and they have lot of interest in Lebanon since its close to Israel , so if they control Lebanon they can attack Israel whenever they want from Lebanon

That's the point: Lebanon is (or should be) a sovereign country, and that Iran sends soldiers there in a shadow-of-the-night blitz really shows how much they care about borders and such stuff

I hope that one day the countries in the ME region will stop pouring oil into the fire and start making peace, but I can't see this happening for now :?
