Hey,
What do you guys think the nest Trans-Atlantic aircraft is? I thought the 757-200, but sadly it doesn't quite have enough range from my AMS base. I think I'll probably go for the 767-300ER, but is there anything else I should be considering?

It really depends on how many seats you're looking at.  The A310-300 with 280 seats is worth considering and costs 30mill less than a 763ER.  The 763ER is a great plane though, if you need 350 seats!

(The AM staff really love cowpackers.  A310 with 280 seats is only possible with 9 abreast, while the 763ER with 350 seats needs 8-abreast!)

Is the A330 out in your world yet? It comes out in 1993...perhaps you might be interested in it.

Anyway in the stone age over in world 6, I have to stick with the Lockheed L1011 tristar to get decent range over 5500 miles.

The Airbus A310-300 or the A300-600/R. I have both types and they are really good both of them, over 450 000 DOP each.

I like the 757-200 but it obviously could use more range.

Stone Age is W5, we had to fly Lockheed Supper Connies or Boeing Stratocruisers to get across the pond.

Tonight is going to be 707 fest in W5

We had a 757fest 3 days ago. Over 200 ordered in the first two days after it came out. Of course, 12 of them for myself.

I'll probably start retiring my 76's and putting A330/A340's on their routes when they come out.
