Hello. I was just thinking for a while, and thought I would like to know about where all the airline owners started out. So where? I started at Tucson.

Pittsburgh, then went into Washington Dulles, then Orlando, and eventually into 2 markets on the West Coast.  Then, I will go international, likely over to Asia...

There was a thread/poll a while back discussing this.

Most, if not all, first-time players choose the airport closest to them in real life as their first base. The second most popular answer was their favorite airport and/or the hub of their favorite airline. I think it's natural to think that way. After one round, they usually uproot themselves and either go to a more strategic airport or try out another continent.

Started at Shanghai Pudong, but got tired of route editing, so i shut down all operations and moved to Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. Mighty easy, no competition, and i already had a large fleet from Shanghai. :D

Started in Seoul-Incheon.

Then i went to Seoul-Gimpo due to close proximity and the ability to reuse gates.  I followed up with Los Angeles, Guangzhou, Tokyo-Haneda, and Beijing-Capital
