Again, the concorde is just a toy that I like to play around with. It's not really a profit center. My profit centers are mostly domestic and select international routes...:D

Of course.  My most profitable plane: a 727-200 based at PIT.  My most profitable route: PIT-LHR on a TU 114D...

It's my "flagship" although it doesn't make me any money. :)

I like to say I run a special version of concorde that involves a fuselage stretch and a slightly wider fuselage with "144 business class" seats.

Speaking of supersonic planes, where's the baggage compartment on board the concorde? In the tail section?

That's the only place that I could think of that could hold bags...with such a thin fuselage it can't be stored under the passenger cabin...

Don't bother.

Buy some good capacity long range (B747-200, L1011-500 or B747SP is recommended) conventional jets.
More economical and profitable.

Dude, they AIN'T SUPPOSED TO MAKE MONEY.

Mine generates quite some revenue, but it came with a pricetag that could have bought me 2 A306R's. It is running JFK-FRA-DBX-SIN-SYD (I'm still waiting for the Alliance rights to continue to AKL).

I've also got a 744 on order although I don't think it'll make any profit, but it's just a plane I can't miss.

Right now I'm saving money to be a launch customer for the A333 and A342 :D

I have 3 and have one brokered. All 4 will be going around the world. Like actually around the world. JFK to JFK kind of thing....

And to appease the save the planet brigade, it runs on hydrogen fuel which has 4 times the energy of jet fuel. Not to mention that hydrogen fuel is lighter...:D

Yeah, and it makes for a big party to smoke during refueling

You're not supposed to smoke when you refuel with standard jet fuel either.

In fact my company policy dictates that anyone who's working within 750 feet of an airplane at any time is NEVER allowed to smoke at work or carry a lighter with them at any time. Anyone who's caught smoking is immediately fired.

Oh, that's no prob at my company-my Concorde runs on Diesel. :P It's also allowed to smoke in flight because we showed it to those non-smoker campaigns.

We use the same way of dividing the cabin between smokers/nonsmokers as Lufthansa did during the 70s: You may smoke in the left half of the plane but never in the right half of the plane

Exactly there, between the rear galley and the tail fuel trim tank. There's a small cargo door on the starboard side, plus an access door from the galley (which had to be locked during flights due to the cargo hold being pressurized but unheated)

I'd say the Tu-144D is the best. (I'm only saying that because I'm from Russia)

And it's got a D (for Diesel :P ), but I still prefer the Concorde because of its slightly longer range.
