[W4] possible bug with the alliance voting.

when i click to accelerate present vote it comes up with the error "An unknown error has occured, Please go back and try again. (CEO)"

I also have a second question. Last round the CEO pass/fail choice was still available even after people made some votes, but now as soon as someone votes that option does not exist. My question is was that just something that was missed or is that no longer an option?

i want to report a bug as well.
It goes about the voting system in w4.
I was accepted and being passed, but a couple of days later, i get the following message

Subject Alliance Entry Petition Failed Delete Message
Reply to Message
Message Your petition to join has failed, and a portion of your application fee has been refunded. You may petition for entry again, or may attempt to join another alliance if you so choose.
From:

I'm listed twice in the voting window on the right. (since I've applied again)
Anyone familiar with this problem?

I got over it by voting first, then accelerate the vote. I don't know if that works every time though.

tried that still comes up with the same error

hmm...

sorry, terribly sorry for my slow response on this bug. It's been hectic, crazy, and generally busy here. I've done what bugfixes i can, but my to-do list on suggestions/bug fixes/threads generally needing response (aka my open tabs in firefox) has been backing up and backing up.

I've (I believe) fixed one important bug, namely the one that hides the accelerate vote option. I'm still poking at the code itself at the moment... pondering a partial rewrite. I'm still working on it at the moment. just thought i'd update everyone as to my status here.

edit: i've rewritten a portion of it however have not uploaded it. It's now far, far, far past anything resembling a time for me to go to sleep. I'll review it in the morning, then upload it in a seperate for a little bugtesting of my own before unleashing it on the public. It is (hopefully) just a rework to cut some needless redundancy.

I think it has been fixed since i just voted in 2 members applying in my alliance

You can vote.. but just that the member never gets in after 2 months
