Didn't they use to be at 0 while on order instead of 24 hours ?

Yes, they used to be (and are again) at zero. :P

See Elbonia's post on the previous page. Seems that only planes that were on order when he updated free time are affected, although this is only cosmetic. Once the plane arrives (status changes to "In Service") it can be used normally.

Believed to be permanently fixed now.  bad me, leaving that bug in there.  Hours believed to be reset appropriately again.
