There were several of us that flew to the South Pole last round.  I had one stop service from the Amazon to the Pole.  There's a "press release" in the airline news threads.

Yes and yes.

Last turn I saw someone based at Antarctica... for maybe one day. Must have asked staff for an account reset, as the B99 was not exactly a good plane for the continent.

And quite a few airlines ended up flying there. From bases in Australia, I think. I suppose Europacific may have been one of them. By the end of the turn he was flying pretty much everywhere.

i too saw one or two airlines there, maybe they ask for an account reset, or the admins saw fit to delete them

a few airlines flew there,

Fresh! had a non-stop MD-11ER service from Stansted to Teniente Rodolfo Apt (SCRM) and a Non-stop 777-200LR service from Rhodes Diagoras to Amundsen-Scott Station.

but for some odd reason, i can't seem to find Teniente Rodolfo anymore  :(

When I was a member of the Skyteam Alliance back in the 2000-2007 round, one of my fellow alliance members flew there.  I don't remember if the airline made profit tho...

I remember making profit on both routes, but truthfully, i needed somewhere to send the aircraft rather than them doing nothing at all

(maybe around 50-60k each, but i can't really remember)

I made a modest profit flying from SCL to Admundsen Station last round.  I forget what I was flying, it was a 15-20 seat prop, not a Convair.
