You know, I think I'd like to have the 1980-1989 time frame.  The aircraft were really awesome at this time.  DC9s, 727s, 732s, 733s, 757s.  The 742 is also another fav of mine!

If you choose the year, that's what I'd choose :-)

LOL.  Well I made a total assumption.  My 31 miles came from if you dropped it from the top of the atmosphere; and as hard as I tried I couldn't calculate the threshold at what speed/height (dependent on mass) objects would burn up and which objects would flutter to the ground.

I'm 15 and like the modern era.  I prefer at least the '80's.  I would love to have an airline with A319's.  When does that come out anyway?

Oh, you should have seen people over here when we had the 30's-round. Rioting everywhere

BTW, I don't really see the use of this thread if multiworlds is gonna come out next round.

With multiworlds, do we choose the exact year we want, or will there be two worlds or so set at different times? I'd choose the Late 80's or the present day. The 20's/30's would be boring, the biggest plane was like 30 seats..

I agree.  And besides, I have pretty much fallen in love with the 727, 732, 757, 767 etc...

Nothing beats the sound of a 732 roll/rocket down the runway for takeoff!! (And I think I mentioned that before -- well I'm saying it again!!!  732s RULE!)

Fokker 70/100
B737-300/400
Airbus A320
B767-200/300
