Is it possible to make the plane delivered time shorter?

for example, B737 from 24days to 12, B707 from 72 days to 24, L1011 from 96 to 48, B747 from 168 days to 72..

I'd be in to reduce the delivery time of widebodies to 72 houers. The rest= been there, done that, nearly ended in a catastrophe last round!

Delivery times are fine as they are, even 168 days for 747 is short in comparison to real life. If you don't wan't ta wait that long, buy one on the used market and take the extra cost.

My suggestion: Could we make delivery time depending on the demand? That'd be cool!

good idea! aircraft manufactures do that, 700 787\'s to make in a couple of years increases the speed of production as oppose to other aircraft

I'd rather think 24 days is too short, if some of us still remember the 737 flooding in 200x round...

If admins were to reduce the waiting time for the 747 - imagine how many 747's would be floating around larger airlines, thus causing even more saturation

We are talking about increasing the delivery time and/or adding in order book... so this suggestion is ... hmm... pointing in the opposite direction.

Order books would be the best thing to happen

+1 and get rid of the timing system all together. Maybe this can tie in with the first come, more discount suggestion

Keep the minimum order time, but with more orders increase the order time. For example, there would be a huge order time for B732's this round and smaller times for Beech 99's for example.

Maybe also keep official brokers exempt from this rule so there is still a good number of the 'most wanted' aircraft about ;)
