This was my idea, but I'll let Stephen copyright it [Ireland laws won't let me]. So, I'll be legal to be a staff member when this project starts :wink:

It would be nice if we incorporate this to AM.  Buses battle out Load frequencies with airplanes.  Of course buses are gonna lose on long haul but will reign supreme on short trips (NY JFK - NY La Guardia, Haneda - Narita, Heathrow - Gatwick).  Let's also add train mogul.  That would be interesting.

Well... seems like we could be going for a Transport Mogul then (aircrafts, rails and buses)! :p

not a bad idea ;)

how about we do the game only in a city. so san francisco would be one, london would be one etc, but not like trukz where you get fatigued we would have it like AM but instead of things that fly they would be on the ground. the multiworld would come in handy cause we can have one or two of a city so its not saturated so quickly and we can choose what depots were going to buy and what route were going to number   :D

It depends on what type of game you want. There are a few options;

1. The more Text based AM approach.
2. A very basic (Trukz level of basic) sim that could look a bit like Transport Tycoon
3. A more advanced AM or higher complexity sim with the Transport Tycoon style graphics

Or another approach?

Personally since I am discussing with Will about the way Iarnród Mogal is going to go, I am trying to decide what road to go down as such. Obviously the game depends on its level of complexity and development time. We don't want AM suffering.

like AM would be brilliant! trukz is really boring now as it doesn't have the same integrity and excitement of AM. one problem that we have to overcome is the type of map to use and the fact that we have to kindof make our own GCM but in a city or, make premade maps which automatically show up when you make a new route

Flash maps! That's what we should do. For a visual example, Miller on AE had made one. Maybe you can ask how it's done :wink:
