Just wanted to know how people that start to play AM chose their first base. Thanks.

When I started I picked Hanover, Germany which is the closest airport to the place I live.

My first ever base was in Exeter, it was chistmas eve 2006 when I found the site and set up near to my home. In my first game I set up hubs in Exeter, London Heathrow, Oslo, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Paris CDG, Ankara, Munich, Valladolid and Venice Treviso.
ho said aviation sites were sexist?

Rome FCO due to pax data.  Gates were down to 0 though.

MXP has been a base of mine in all 3 rounds I've played.

I started in Wellington NZ as it's my home airport. You can't expand as fast there because not as many detinations. Current base: Chicago Midway. Suggested by friend.
