Sure - I will work on yours after the Asian Connection one.

Bear with me - they are coming.

The limited run is now over, congrats to those who have got one or are getting one.

I always always always draw my own blueprints - the ones I find on the web (and believe me I've looked all over!) are almost always inaccurate in one way or another.

I didn't use a blueprint on the Herald however, I just started off with a base layer and gradually layered everything else on top of that, windows, panel lines, shadows etc. Took about 3 hours all in to get the end result.

no kidding....i have yet to find a decent one of Caravelle model....then there are also all those little variations between sub-versions of each model and such......im just not great doing everything from scratch, lol.....liveries and paint jobs, im fine, but if i dont have the print to work off, im screwed, haha

Just an FYI.  No airline would put a specific airplane into their logo.  It would force them to change it when they shift away from that plane.  If you look at the logos of real companies, they are very plain and generally are just text.  Have a look at Continental, Microsoft, IBM, Coke, General Motors, etc.  You're probably best off avoiding the airplane in the background and going with something more simple.  The 70's was the jet age.  You aren't exactly putting forward a modern look if you have a prop based plane right on your logo.

FYI... This thread seems to be about signatures not logos. Seems like the planes that Andy has illustrated have the LOGOs of the respective airlines on their tails.

Although you have a good point - this thread is indeed about signatures for the forum, not about airline logos.

I could easily design a logo, but most airlines already have that - people like having an aircraft in sample livery to sign off with, or at least I think they do.
